The boils could non be healed by the sorcerers. The seventh plague was the near vicious fall storm that Egypt has ever seen. Moses stretched out his troll across the sky and a storm emerged that shattered orchards and crops as well as men and livestock. The only place it did not damage was the land of Goshen.
